Family Apostolate through Healing Ministry

Health care is a ministerial instrument of God’s out pouring love for the Suffering. It is a vocation and mission and assumes an exalted meaning as “Service to Life” and “Healing Ministry”. The Health Care institutions are the visible expression of the healing and redemptive love of God revealed in Jesus Christ who loves every human being unconditionally from the movement of conception. CSN sisters participate in the healing ministry of Jesus the Nazarene in order to give healing to the whole person and thus to continue the redemptive work of the Lord in the present day. Seeing Jesus in each of the patient and ministering them with tenderness and care, we give redemptive love to each one of them and draw to the Divine Healer

Medical service through hospitals, dispensaries, health centers and psycho-medical centers:   Medical service is another area of family apostolate. Psycho-medical centers help the families solve adjustment problems between parents, between parents and children and so on. Facilities are also provided to accommodate women with psychological problems. These apostolic activities are organized in Kerala and in the northern mission houses. Sisters organize mobile clinics, medical camps, and courses on health care and immunization in villages where people are illiterate and poor.
